Department: Operation Candidate who is detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in creating, reviewing, and interpreting electrical drawings using CAD software. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for Steel foundry & Machine shop. This role also involves planning, coordinating, and executing electrical maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve overall productivity.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and design detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent).

2. Review, modify, and update electrical drawings to meet project specifications and compliance standards.

3. Perform load calculations, circuit design, and equipment selection to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.

4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

5. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify design compliance and oversee the installation process.

6. Stay updated on industry standards, local regulations, and best practices in electrical engineering and CAD applications.

7. Provide technical support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

8. Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical reports and as-built drawings.

9. Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, including motors, switchgear, transformers, and PLCs.

10. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions to minimize downtime. 11. Ensure timely repair and replacement of faulty components.
12. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. 13. Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical systems and resolve potential hazards. 14. Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in work in foundry or any similar heavy industries is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or

similar).
