Radiography

Radiography is a non-destructive testing method used to inspect internal structures without causing damage.

At Emirates Technology Castings, our FANR-approved facility employs Iridium-192 and Cobalt-60 gamma projectors in concrete enclosures and a 5 MeV/9 MeV LINAC X-ray machine for testing products up to 400 mm thick. The LINAC’s shorter exposure time ensures timely delivery, accommodating products up to 8 meters in length and 25 MT.

Certified technicians and a Radiation Safety Officer ensure compliance with standards, providing reliable testing for volumetric defects and maintaining superior customer satisfaction.

  t ≤ 50 mm   -  Iridium 192/ Cobalt 60

50 mm < t ≤ 115 mm -  Cobalt 60/LINAC

115 mm < t ≤ 305 mm - Cobalt 60/ LINAC
